Are you aware of just how much Samsung contribute to the whole smartphone and tech industry? Not only do they supply displays, storage and DRAM for most companies, but they even manufacture SoC's, like the upcoming SD 865. Imagine the investment made to bring 7nm EUV to market. So, you don't think they shouldn't be rewarded for all they bring to smartphones and tech? Despite all their businesses they still can't make as much money as Apple. Even now many of the A series' are very affordable with excellent specs. It's only the flagships where they try to make higher margins to offset the poor margins at the low end. Even then you get a gift with the S10, and after that prices fall. I think your comment is very ignorant.

I will never support Chinese brands until they will pay more fair to their own people and not use them as a cheap labour.
Chinese companies are super rich, owners are know to buy amazing properties around the world but they can't pay fair salaries? Look what's happening worldwide, how much money Chinese are loundering and bringing out of country.

I don't think Apple fans should be happy to know that most of the money they pay isn't for something they get in return but for their beloved company's shareholders. This kind of profit margins show greed and disrespect. I personally will never use their products no matter how amazing they might be. The greed podium is completed by Samsung and Google of course. The only fair market with low margin is in China due to the vast number of choices and stiff competition.

Congratulations for Xiaomi on making it to the ranks. Impressive sales and impressive marketing goes to show how this company will soon be part of the higher ranks.
Impressive as well considering that they are only 10 years on the business.
