                What I am personally surprised to see is how "relatively smaller"companies like Huawei, Asus etc. are launching devices with better hardware than Apple and Samsung. Where is the so called innovation by these mammoth companies?

                These companies show on paper that they spend billions on R&D but in practice we only receive iterative upgrades year over year for 2-3 years.

                I was myself in Apple-Samsung duopoly till now(at present on Moto One Power,waiting to jump to my next flagship)...I think my next phone is going to be the Asus ROG phone 2, because I can live and adjust easily with its cons(big phone, heavy). But it is the most no-compromise phone in planet right now...at one point that used to be Samsung.
