Anonymous, 24 Jul 2019It will slow down faster than Snapdragon. Accept that.Sony also manage to do better on their Mediatek devices, also they are CHEAPER! If they cost the same they would been worthless IMO but since they are cheaper and at their best match mid-range Snapdragon they offer much needed competition, sadly Huawei & Samsugn are not offering their top chips for sale... Blaming Mediatek processor? Nokia had earlier launched couple of phones with the same but still they had managed to provide monthly security updates and OS updates to those phones. Yes, their handsets are costly compare to these cheap phones but are these OEM's don't even bother to provide any after sales service, forget monthly security updates and OS updates.

I do not think that make sense... Anyhow I doubt people will think Micromax have re-branded to Huawei its unlikely unless they are the only seller of Huawei devices in India? :S

Please don't do it Huawei, you will lose your reputation in Indian market, Micromax is a well known cheater here. They just resell non branded phones make in china which dont last long or have a good quality. I'm sure Huawei will just get neglected as people will assume them as a new product of Micromax too.

Micromax? What a bad company which makes very bad phones powered by the worst processor brand in the world. Yes it is MediaTek. I don't lie. I had two Micromax phones before. Bad move Huawei.

                          Very smart move

DonAKG, 24 Jul 2019The Future. Micromax is bought by Huawei.Huawei have little to gain from that, on the other hand Micromax can gain from selling things that other than their own customer base wants, I bet the best phone they have is about 200$ and anything above that is what this deal is probably targeting... V-V (smart move really)

Hopefully Honor also leverage on this partnership. Huawei have some decent mid-rangers albeit dated like the Nova 3i and Y9 (2019) but it's under their sub-brand Honor where the gems are hidden like the recently announced 9X series
