The color rendering was quite atrocious and chroma noise level becomes way too high above ISO 100. It would've been acceptable if the RAW was at least usable, but sadly that's not really the case here either.
However, I realised that if you shoot in 10MP mode while setting the torch to always on constantly yields the highest amount of details as long as there's sufficient amount of light around. This trick doesn't work in low light, dark indoor environment or scenes that require wide dynamic range, but I find it very useful for evenly lit daytime landscapes or outdoor macro.

Finally I realize why Trump should ban Huawei, one of the reason is their "advertising" better than Samsung. Samsung fans only saying their camera phone's image quality is same as a DSLR quality, the Huawei fans saying their camera phone's image quality is better than this Sony Cyber-shot Camera. I can't imagine if Huawei have making DSLR what will the Huawei fans praise it lol

Nick Tagataka, 26 Jul 2019Those $100-200 cheap zoom compacts have trash image quality... moreActually u can great point & shoot natural photos (without extra processing) from Huawei as well. In your P30, go to Pro Mode (without touching anything, auto default), settings, resolution, set to RAW on. The JPG came out from it is different when RAW support turn off. I'm not talking about the untouch DNG format, but the JPG format came out from it. Theres no noise reduction & sharpness added (maybe minimal), greater details but noisier photos. U loosing the image stacking of course, with less dynamic range (pixel binning still works nonetheless)
