Without that the background of selfies for example would be white. This is not what we see with our eyes. But the hdr does not need to be to agrresive, it can makes pictures look stupid and unnatural. I haven't seen that on the Pixel.
Pixel 3a is expensive in india, 580 dollars for the not XL version. This is not the case in other countries.
Every camera has it's pros and cons, there is no best. Don't try to convince us to buy oppo reno 10x zoom phone, you are failing. With photo editing you can make a picture from even a budget phone look great (but not excellent).

You're going into the very fine details to say if a phone is good or not. But that's not the point. It's the overral experience. And to everyone, there is no best, every phone camera it's advantages and disadvantages. The pixels just have very good cameras. Pros try to get the best out of their phone, no matter how bad their phone is. With photo editing you can achieve great results(ex. Raw) and with a pc/mac you will achieve even greater results. So stop complaining about the details. The pixel 3a has a nice overall experience. And the oppo renno 10x zoom is in a completly different price segment.

That's why we need hdr, for less blown out white and black. Maybe your eyes have a crappy dynamic range, that's why you think the images are unnatural. But for me they aren't.

I just said I was hightly deceived by the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom in low light condition, so I was surprised you said your was good.
But now I read again, Oppo Reno 10x zoom priced lower than a pixel 3a? Here the pixel is twice as cheap as the reno (400 vs 800€) retail price. You can find each of them for like 300 and 600 in used new condition, still pixel being half the price. What is boring is that now we even find the Pixel 3Xl at 440€, price of the Pixel 3a XL.

Even Xperia 1 can takes clean lowlight photo even at ISO 800...but your Google Pixel 3 can’t...just go to Gsmarena reviews page of Xperia 1 and see the photo taken with Xperia 1 main camera in low light at 1:1(100%) zoom on your Mac of PC monitor...I after that you can’t tell Google Pixel 3 is best lowlight phone

Well, low light if you prefer. And I have a Xperia 1 with no night mode, I Don't stand the night mode option on phone.
I Don't care about any phone or brand, I just care about people making false asumption because they want their choice to be the same as the others since they can't assume their own choice if other doesn't recognize it. People come here to have help when choosing a phone, not to see a battle between people that want to win a "war" where they will not get anything from it.
