Why do surface users keep comparing surface with iPads or Android tablets? Surface is not a tablet. It’s a windows laptop with touchscreen. If you want a laptop Surface is an option. If you want a tablet get an Android or much better an iPad.

Anonymous, 26 Jul 2019android tablet... just lolYou do know that this thing also runs Ubuntu correct? An 1lbr Ubuntu ultrabook is a dream come true for many of us road warriors and developers. Sure it runs the arm version of Ubuntu but you can already run most of anything that matters to it.
Oh, it is a tablet too, but like you said who cares about it.
If it comes w 12GB of ram , SD855, 2TB of storage (internal + micro SD) , it already beats most laptops in its price range at half (!) the weight.
So yeah, go on and call it a mere tablet. I for one was waiting for such a light (and hopefully powerful) Ubuntu laptop for years. Now go back to your iPad toy and see what you can produce there ... lol.

And there are games that is perfectly well suited for bigger display. Try playing mobile legends on an android tablet. And you'll see just how useful it is to have a bigger display.

I can see a use for an android tablet, too. Especially Samsung ones where you have the S Pen. A bigger display always works better for a lot of things.

Even with the limitations of Chrome OS which have improved overtime, I can't understand why Samsung still sticks with android on their tablets.
At least give a ROM choice, and see how many stick with android.
