Only for those on Invite list already. Huh. Previously bought in Samsung store, New S6, New S7edge, New A50, still not on the invite list.

Grats Phillipines people gets lot of freebies and rest of the world just middle finger like always.
When comes to show respect to its customers Samsung shows only increased prices and decreaased add-ons and features.

XTR, 28 Jul 2019Yup. They do indeed dominate the low to mid tiers. I agree - this true for low to mid-range phones. Samsung and Apple still dominates the top end in the Philippines. But, the prices and Sammy's and Apple's flagships are getting really ridiculous while Chinese phones like Huawei are getting better and people are noticing. Iphones, espcially are now really expensive in the country.

PH is dominated by the mid range and low end phones, maybe 60-70% of the population buys it. flagship phone buyers are iphone, s10, thats about it, maybe a couple on the p30, not so much on the note line up

I think they are doing this to Philippines as when I was on the country, Samsung was not a first option when the like of Huawei, Oppo, and Vivo who dominates the phone market are in the country.

Looks like it's already closed. Tried registering (just to see what the freebies and options are) but keeps saying "not on invite list" and says to try registering to get updates on next event.

Huawei does this as well in the Philippines. LOADS of freebies for pre-orders and during launch day. NO FREEBIES after that. To add to the frustration, a color gradient variant will be available ONLY for pre-orders with wider availability several months after launch date.
