Chinese companies usually put more investment into theirs
About PCs, people are made to invest a lot of time and money on multiplayer games in general. Singleplayer games are usually less demanding. In fact, there aren't that many Chinese singleplayer games and the only Western multiplayer games are from the greedy companies, like EA obviously.

They are the ones that popularized in-game cash shops, but they did that with free to play model. Western companies are overwhelmed with greed, because they want $60 entry fee on top of predatory microtransactions.

People there spend up to 6 hours daily in public transport, so smartphone is their primary multimedia device, including gaming. That's why mobile MOBAs are so popular, Chinese made them so. And that's why "gaming" phones even exist. Mostly Chinese manufacturers play this "gaming trend", because there's a huge interest for those kind of devices in China.
