I was sony, than samsung and now huawei user. Im fan of their mobile products, but Smarthome appliances? Not so much. Is that making me a fanboy
I for example like huawei smartphones, apple and samsung tablets, sony gaming consoles, lg tv's.

It is doubtful if Mate X will ever be released to the public whereas we know the Fold is coming in September.

Anonymous, 28 Jul 2019I will probably get downvoted, but no one can deny that thi... moreYou're funny, to be honest iphones used to be the best but for the last few years android phones have been doing it better and cheaper, if you want the best screen its usually a Samsung, if you want the camera it'll be between a Huawei and a sony, the play store has a larger and better range of apps, don't get me wrong apple has a good selection to but iphone haven't been the best in any category for years, if you're about to mention the chipset then I'd strongly urge you to play a cross platform game and compare the best iphone to a good gaming android and you'll realise that iphones now are just overpriced.

At $2500 a piece they better work. In the meantime Apple is just waiting letting others do the dirty work before stealing the tech necessary to launch one of their own.

After what happened to the Fold Huawei are taking time to make it perfect, I kinda wish Huawei released it at the original date and seen it fail.
Luckily for them Samsung released theirs 1st and Huawei have been making slight changes to the device.
I think Huawei realised fold out is not that good and they cant really change that without huge hardware changes

Interesting. 1 or 2 Chinese companies were caught stealing tech from Samsung (including Screen tech) in the recent past.
Despite the IR theft (and theft if a penal nature), it seems none of them have been able to use the tech they were stealing, through fake employees plannted in Samsung.
While neither Samsung nor the companies themselves have commented on the theft, it is curious that nobody except Samsung has been furtheri nf development on the Foldsblr Display front.

Unlike Pampung, Huawei actually has a quality control department & won't release half-baked product to public (or reviewers for that matter).
Good job Huawei! A delay is better than a recall.

For Huawei fanboys, just look at the already released and reviewed Flexpai phone. That is what your beloved Mate X will look like except thinner and no gap when folded. Still, it's a failure because the plastic screen is outside and it scratched too easily. You not getting gorilla glass on that foldable phone. Huawei keep pursuing this design is incomprehensible.
