Future iOS versions to ask users before uploading contact data

Oooh, that's so cool "anonymously uploading contacts" Yeah, I really want a "smart"phone with iOS or Android now! Or is it like some say "smartphone is to compliment it's user's dumbness"?

          It is frightening just how many apps can access all sorts of information from your phone. I have an android phone and some of the third party apps like keyboards can store key strokes and passwords,etc. There is far too much that access these kind of things, truly a hacker's paradise.

                  well another clever idea from apple. well done. just another reason to buy an iphone. not only the best phone in the world. the most secure. no malware unlike android and windows mobile 7.

                                Android, please come front and please remove apps such as Facebook app for uploading contacts to their server without user permission.

                                  I know a good way around this problem that doesn't require any sort of update. Stop using social networking sites and start meeting people face to face. Full on privacy control guaranteed.. unless you get drunk and spill the beans that is, in that case ooops :P
