Love the Community, 29 Jul 2019They just added Electronic Image Stabilization on that came... moreConsidering that DxOMark has been complaining about their lack of EIS in the cameras, I'd say it's nice to find that Lenovo's listened to their feedback. The dedicated video camera is pretty awesome for night footage, but it isn't automatically activated so I'd say it's a welcome addition, which makes the phone more attractive, despite the fact that Lenovo would probably abandon support in 6 months time.

The camera stabilization of this phone was a joke at the beginning and still far from competitors even in its digital version. Put only OIS in the 2Mp camera and then use that as OIS camera advertisement was a big laugh in the customers face...
I prefere pay a bit more or a previous year real flagship with OIS and hardware plus software stabilization, both.

Same curved alphabets, always thin fonts, flat design rather than material and colorful icons

AnonD-706668, 29 Jul 2019Again no OIS in main camera....They just added Electronic Image Stabilization on that camera. Optical Image Stabilization has to be applied physically because OIS is hardware. It's already too late now but it's okay, we have EIS.
