Google has Chromebooks/Chrome os.
Best tab maker does not care about its products past two years.

I have the Tab S4 and it's pen and keyboard, i am mighty pleased by its screen and 835 still copes for all my needs, the surround boxes are superb, maybe i would jump to the 855 S6, in the future when the S6 drops its price.
The new keyboard also has a touchpad. But this is not what i was expecting.
What i wanted the most was enhanced battery and the S6 unfortunately will have a smaller one...
Then i would like HDR10+ support for films, yet chances are slim as it is not advertised.
And finally i d like a higher Hz tracking or even better higher Hz screen like the Oneplus 7pro.
Hopefully the Tab S7 will have all that, if they actually make it and continue the "e" trend.

After Microsoft, huawei and samsung finaly we have a good competition in the tablet category. Ipad was almost the only choice for too long in terms of raw performance . Only if thay can release a more afordable version with a powerful cpu just like apple did with the ipad 6th generation.

I got my Tab S 1 8.4" for £60 in mint condition.. Running Lineage OS 7.1.2 and rooted. It's a million times better than Samsung's LagWiz OS.
