    Ios has a few flaws and isn't 100% secure but android has much more flaws and is less secure than ios. Yes it would be better if there were zero flaws but there isn't. So by comparing one with less flaws and the other with more flaws then one is more secure.
    For example, 2 buildings with one door each. Both doors have flaws and aren't fully secure but one door is much more flawed and is less secure. That's the point I'm making.
    Android has more features than ios. But ios has some features too. They aren't both the same Bcuz they have features with your way of thinking. But truth is they are not the same feature wise as android has more features. Just like flaws.

Android's fragmentation problem actually ser... moreI didn't think about this way but your right because it explains why the people still buy Android phones (somehow) because if the Android is that vulnerable, them google would have lost and all the companies wouldn't keep working with them anymore and would have probably made their own OSes.
      Also it explains why the developers participate at Google I/O.......

        Fewer flaws doesn't cut it. Both OSes should now be safer means ZERO Flaws. Look at the big picture not on a small piece of it.....

        Theses OSes was being developed for 10 years and more so why we can't get a 0 flawed one??? That's the question we suppose to ask.....

        You want to say less safer is better meaning small flaws and should let it go which is wrong
        Big or less doesn't matter because flaw is a flaw and at anytime you can get hacked easily

        You want to justify for Apple and believe their lies...it's up to you but don't say i'm denial or this is a fact just you want to praise Apple because others said so.....

        Thank you for the great discussion but I'm done with because this is pointless. You think I'm defending Android. No, I know the Android is flawed but that how open source is and when Apple is bragging about about their security, they have huge flaws, so why brag when you OS isn't that secure and have Zero Flaws. That's what I'm talking about.... A closed sourced and the company only have the authority, codes and secrets and yet it has flaws.
        Thank you again but we know Apple is guilty and we need to say that to them no matter other OS is flawed or not. Always the media talk about Google and we know their guilty but when Apple does something, it is WOW and they know their doing even their mistakes are fine.... I hate the people who talk like that....

        It's up to you what you want to believe but don't say it is a fact.

Celebrities didn't get hacked at all. They were stupid and fell for a scam where they handed in their passwords and security questions on what they thought were legitimate emails wanting their details. Was their own fault handing over details. Try again

Android's fragmentation problem actually serves as a sort of herd security for Android.. Because Android system is modified by many manufacturer, chances of a vulnerability to pass through all version of Android OS are very slim.. Whereas Apple's ecosystem once you pass the vulnerability on an iPhone it will work on all those millions of other iPhones regardless of versions or what year it's produced including millions of iPads as they are the same OS.. This is what draws hackers to the Apple ecosystem more because the reward of a breakthrough is very big.. compared to a breakthrough in android that will probably work on just a specific device from a specific manufacturer only.. That is how you get all the stolen video/info leaks from celebrities(they use iPhone right?).. Some hackers might be watching you right now through your iPhone.. Just because you don't have any assets to exploited they just put you on observation only that is why you don't feel anything happening.. Remember, as the news said the one last vulnerability that google found is not yet patched to this very day.. Ha ha ha ha ha.. Spook you

              One would wonder what the hell are programmers doing releasing vulnerable apps after so many years.

                No OS is 100% secure.

                But Apple is making lots of money by offering security. And they did have some security issues latley.

Someone w... moreDude this is a government agency and whatever the government wants they can do so when they asked Apple politely to open their system or give to them, they didn't mean they couldn't hack but it was they want to abide by the rules, otherwise why would they get warranties to search for a house or a place from the court???? So they can hack if they want to play dirty and brake any company they want.

                    Infact, how many people the government agencies can recruit??? Criminals hackers who could want their record wiped and start clean and the students who study it and graduate each year all over the US.

                    Also thats your believe but it is not a fact so don't force it on me because when it comes to both of he OSes, no one is better than the other in terms of security, but one thing could intercession for the Android is that it is an open source which any hacker can do and know it is codes and how to bypass them, but the iOS is a closed source and it has flaws that anyone can hack.

                            Listen the truth is no OS is secure. Also the search would say what Apple does for marketing and nothing more. Apple loves to the brag and say their OS is more secure than Android which is completely wrong. Both of them get a lot of flaws. Even if the number of flaws are less than the Android's, doesn't mean it's securer.

                            The fake and clone apps are normal to happen but why the people download them and don't check first??? Why the people don't stick to the famous apps and stay safer???
                            Any app that becomes too famous will show itself and then you can download it. Most of the famous apps have a tag says editorial's choice and there comments on the bottom which people write about and rate. Why are the people blind???

                            I'm not defending Android but what on most people's mind an idea that Android is flawed and iOS is more securer, which is wrong. Don't you and the people know that Google and Apple compete and they will do anything to break that other meaning that they will do campaign to trash each other??? If you understand the term "marketing" and I have seen in it in my own eyes.

                            Also your the one who is getting defensive and personal because you want me to agree with since most of the people say that.
                            Also don't twist the term more secure just because the people and the sites say?? most of the sites are paid.

                            I will tell one thing, if Android is that bad, no company would have used it in their phones, cars and more, otherwise google has to pay them all so they can use them which mean billions and billions and billions of dollars each years which would bankrupt Google. And that's common sense.......

                              Every company wants their phones to be bought every year. so that doesn't matter if you get an iPhone or an android phone because their OSes are sophisticated already.....

                                  Don't u remember the article a few weeks ago stating that the playstore contains lots of malware and lots of fake and clone apps? That's just one part of it. If u Googled android pie vulnerabilities then u would find dozens and dozens of vulnerabilities in android. Yet it in this article, Google own engineers managed to find 6 vulnerabilities in ios. Just 6 compared to many flaws in android.
                                  That's why it's a well known fact for years that ios is more secure than android. It's common knowledge. Just chill

If a normal hacker says now i will target Apple, he will crush them.                                         Apple brags all the time but still have flaws and Android has it shares so who is better than who in terms of security??? No one. But, I saw an OS called Sailfish which more secure and powerful than both of them.
