What percentage of all android users knows about it, let alone know how to manually update? Fandroids here are under the delusion that most android users know these stuff like they do. Fact is fandroids who tinkers and heavily customises their phones represent a very tiny minority. A massive majority would obviously prefer for their phones to “just work”. A mantra which is what iOS represents.

Apple has a vulnerability which is already being patched haters here popping champagne. Meanwhile malware found on Android possibly one of most widely affected in years yet nobody cares LOL

Security issues like these don't just happen by themselves. Sending actual code to iMessage and it executes it? It's not supposed to have any such functionality to begin with, so why was it put in?
The American government wants backdoors in iPhones and in Android, and Google and Apple have to follow American law and court-and-gag orders when they are served.
If you think your iPhone is secure and safe, you are only fooling yourself.
