except for the cheapest Tencent Elite version with limited support,
the known ROG Phone 2 versions coming with global radio support,
incl. all 700MHz FDD-LTE Bands + B66 and B20 for EU,
even the asian versions.
so 18 FDD-LTE + all mostly used TD-LTE Bands,
also 8 diff. 3G/WCDMA Bands ...
that s nice and complete
FM Radio support incl. as well!

Asus has been working on t... moreyeah, I am rooting for ASUS as well, I like the design, but it is too big for me.
Unfortunately I had to gave up on the first one too due to the faulty screen and they had no more in stock in the UK.

Asus has been working on their smartphones harder than most companies. So naturally, it should pay off in the end.

I looked up the first ROG phone and apparently Verizon was butting heads with Asus on getting software compatibility for VoLTE but Asus wouldn't budge. It doesn't look like there's going to be another phone quite like the rog 2 in terms of features and performance, especially with regards to thermal throttling. Fingers crossed still.

Asus phones aren't really that popular in the first place there, so why would they bring this one to America? Not mention that it'd be facing fierce competition from flagships by the likes of Samsung and Apple... but I guess there is a small chance it could still happen, though. Carrier compatibility could be really tricky though. I suggest doing your research on what carrier you want for that phone and try to find out the bands it uses, and if they're compatible with this phone.

- still sells out on pre-orders, where has been launched;
- and most markets still waiting for lauch;
- 3rd party sellers on ebay & Co. asking up to 50% over list-prices ...
So ASUS will have/has 2 very popular phones at the same times
and production & supply chain capacities are limited,
so availability as well will be limited for months.

I would definitely buy rog 2 at the cheaper price that was offered in China and i don't do gaming.

Thought I wanted red magic 3 but I definitely want this. I'll wait to see a few more devices but it's probably going to be this.
