Paid service. Who wants to bet they'll be monetizing on collected user data anyway, even if they don't see any ads? Make them pay and still sell their habits. Double profit.

i would try the free trial/ maybe get a lower end music app to replace spotify ... pretty nifty
hopefully the games arnt all crap 499 is a fair price

I could see the point of this, and for $4.99 it seems like a good deal for both consumers and developers. What will make or break this is the app selection, if it has a very limited selection or just has bad apps in general... it probably won't be very successful.

I do play some games like Hole.io, Wordscapes and use internet radio, and I get bombarded with annoying ads. With this Play Pass, I can finally get the full version of PowerAMP.
