OnePlus explains the creation process behind Zen Mode

Absolutely useless! You are seriously addicted if you need "zen" mode to take a break from the digital life. And moreover, you can always use the Silent mode, DND or even turn-off the cellphone for a while than using the Zen mode. If one cannot do all of it, you need to seek help for cellphone/internet addiction!

Completely useless feature, if you need Zen mode, you obviously need help, I mean if you cant stop using your phone, Zen mode will not help you

This is a good idea;
It helps combat (and raise awareness) of internet and device addictions..
Quite impressive.

Maybe a derelict company like Zen doesn't want Asus and wants to pick on them because they're a minor smartphone company. Of course they don't want to pick on OnePlus for the Zen mode because Indians love OnePlus like Silicon Valley sees it as a religion.

The people that might need Zen mode are the ones who are literally addicted to their phone, that they need a app to make them put it down.

I see ASUS beign sued in India cause some cheap, dirty company with "Zen" in the name win the battle and then ASUS only call it ASUS 6 in there instead of Zenfone 6.
And then OP did this, and nothing happens!

CompactPhones5ever, 01 Aug 2019Pointless - people who want digital detox have tons of apps... more"Die within 2 generations tops"
Isn't that normal? It's a rule of thumb for planned obsolescence. I always change my stuff for every 2 years (mobile) or 5 years (PC parts).
My Nokia 8's time is up as it served me for 2 years. I was thinking about replacing my Nokia 8 with Nokia 9.1 Pureview (with headphone jack), Nokia 8.2 (3.5mm jack and SD855), Asus Zenfone 6 or Huawei Mate 30 (with jack).

Pointless - people who want digital detox have tons of apps like this available already, people who don't want it, won't use it.
Biggest joke is that 1+ 6/6T users have been begging for Nightscape 2.0 (night camera mode) and instead OnePlus gave them this trash generic app that Google Play is full off. OnePlus is starting to take a dump on its previous model users to boost the OP 7 sales, it's going to die within 2 generations top.
