LG V40 ThinQ Android Pie update rolling out in India

It feels Android is not able to get certificate from Google Android team on there Android pie update.
The software develop is so poor that it is failing certification.
And hence this delay in launching it.
They rectifying and getting certificate for different version one by one.
LG has worst software team ever.
They are even not able to tweak there interface also properly.
So Android pie will be delayed.

[deleted post]LG is making it incredibly easy to be a hater with such horrible software support. When the Samsung on8 which is an India specific phone released in 2016 on android 6.0 which generally never recieves more than one update received Pie in May while the G7 released in may 2018 still hasn't received Pie it just shows how far LG has fallen.
I had convinced one of my friends to spend more and buy the LG G7 rather than a Chinese Mi8.
In India the G7 guys still haven't received Pie while MI is testing Android Q for the Mi8.

on 1st aug got july security patch update.
No clue on Android pie.
Maybe another 1 to 2 month wait.
This is my last LG phone ever.
Even UI feels so old.
There is no refresh attitude from LG.

Will probably make an announcement in the next few months on how they have conducted Six Sigma to their Software Update Center staff and their efficiency will improve in the near term. Or may be they have hired Steven Seagal to whoop their staff's ass so they are working harder now.
