Anonymous, 02 Aug 2019Jack is no feature. Its a legacy. Need to be removed ASAP. ... moreI do use Wireless charger and Bluethooh headphones (Galaxy Buds and Convertible charger) but that does not mean we have to remove features... what if one day, your headphones run out of battery?

Predictable... People who didn't believe last year article that Samsung Note10 would remove the headphone jack and tho it would be faux... Well, they did voice their deep disappointment this time, and I wasn't surprised at all. It's up to LG or Asus this period...

Captain Obvious XVII, 02 Aug 2019Deal breaker. You simply can't replace a dedicated analog i... moreYou can use a dongle and still have analog connection. 3.5mm is just a connector and USB-C audio passthrough still sends analog signal. Every single major OEM supports that feature apart from Google and their Pixels.
Basically using the passive adapter is the same, the only 'functionality' you're losing is charging and using headphones at the same time. Worried you'll lose your adapter? Just tape it to the headphones.

Just tape the adapter to your headphones that you're only using with your phone. Samsung will probably offer USB-C audio passthrough like Huawei, OnePlus etc and other good OEMs do. It's only Pixels that don't offer that basic functionality.
For real the lack of 3.5mm is a non-issue, you do realise that you can still use your wired headphones without a loss in quality?

GSMArena, why do you write "Gives us some hope"?
I mean, isn't it obvious to you that Note 10 will have an audio player, and then a dongle of some kind anyways? Its a premium flagship.
Anyhow, no 3.5mm jack is always a dealbreaker for me, except that I was never in line for a Note series, due to their size.
S10 is great for me, audio, camera, display, the weight and size, all awesome, except the software, but I'll see what can be done for it. Let it get a bit cheaper, then we'll see.

Need to be removed ASAP. ... moreWireless don't last longer, it's designed to force maintenance and consumption of batteries, etc. Only sellers are interested in wireless technology. I'll always choose a product that offer both wired and wireless together at most, to let me choose what i want at any time. And have a good wired headphone that last forever basically.

Interesting.... so, no buy! Discarded from my list.
With all the actual alternatives out there a doubt that the pen will help a lot this time. Too many features removed with the same high price. The Note 9 is the last real Note cellphone.

Deal breaker. You simply can't replace a dedicated analog input with an all-in-one affair or a wireless option. End of story.
