Samsung is now emulating Huawei's strategy to produce something for everyone under their Note brand. It is cheaper to maintain as well, when it comes to software updates. A few slightly different model is way easier to market and provide updates for, compared to an entirely different model.

Human logic:
- Complain about plastic bodies, then put glass and metal phones in plastic cases.
- And as the second picture shows: complain about bezels, then put the phone inside a bulky flip case.
