Can't wait for the Note 10 to go on sale.
Means the Note 9 that is a better phone will be cheaper

Adegbenro, 02 Aug 2019I always wait 3 months. Just to see if the phone has any pr... moreYep, safest, cheapest way, the longer you can wait, the cheaper it gets. Me, I now buy a year behind, so am now looking at dirt cheap prices for note 9's, about a third of the price or even cheaper.. Buying entirely for the stylus, my partner and I both prefer using phones with stylus, we got used to them with sony/Ericsson p800-p910i series and then our HTC tytn 2's etc, all had stylus. If other makers made phones round a stylus, I would not buy Samsung, but nobody else does, I'd love an Asus Zenfone 6 with decent deep stylus integration, but it won't ever happen..

        No 3.5mm jack , no microsd - Note 10
No 3.5mm jack, has microsd - Note 10+

Therefore, even if the price is lower than Note 9 on launch last year, no buy. Period. Would rather get Note 9 (NOW cheaper than Note 10s eventual launch) for an all-rounded smartphone which may be the LAST.

            Against all odds, decent pricing

I was expecting something well above 1500€

IpsDisplay, 02 Aug 2019Why do people even buy flagships anymore ?? This is robbery... moreWhy I prefer flagship over midrange :

              - better design
              - fancy better materials
              - record better videos ( unless you are using huawei flagship)
              - better internet connection
              - better screen
              - better software/hardware support

For me, keeping same device for 3 years is good choice. I think it is pointless to change every year. Waste of money.

So, Note 9 was cheaper and had an 100$ set of buds(at least that was the marketed price). Now you get a price increase and no earphones

                    The correct prices for Samsung phones are 499, 599, 699, 799, 899 for S10e, S10, S10+, Note 10 and Note 10+ respectively. Don't pay more, just wait a few weeks !

I can understand phones like the Rog 2

On average flagships have such small batteries, have these power hungry processors that are not used to their full potential

Charge an arm and a leg for less bezels

The only features I see nowadays with sufficient user experience gains

Are ultra fast charging, dual wifi acceleration, large batteries, plastic/metal bodies, low light photography
