Just got my Black Shark 2 (Non pro) so far so good charges really fast (60% to full in 30 min) thats outrageous. been watching videos for the past 3 hours and its dropped 44% not what some of the sites have reported. Haven't snapped on the controls yet but thats coming! The battery in this device needs to be bigger, even the Red Magic 3 has a 5k mah battery. So WTH Xiaomi?

It's obvio... moreAgree for the poll answer choices, ROG 2 for specs but if we can't buy the 500$ Tencent model BS 2 for price
Agree for battery but not for the screen as there is nearly no Android game running at 1080p@60fps, PUBGM and Fortnite run at 720p event at highest graphics settings and very few smartphones have the 60fps setting so 90 or 120fps are nearly useless for gaming

No headphone jack, claustrophobic storage, and not enough LTE bands. There's not much going for it except the fast CPU.

Whether it's a gaming phone or not, designwise I like these phones. Look at the back, the flashy stuff that gaming phones make them stand out from the crowd, it's something different than the regular phones we are all so familiar with. I definitely see those gaming phones as a refreshment designwise, in a rather boring smartphone landscape nowadays.

I pick option C: Neither.
It is not better than the last model because it is NOT the best "gaming" phone on the market, that title goes to the Asus ROG Phone II.

Considering phone gaming, non-pro should be able to play anything you throw at it at highest resolution for the next three years unless a gaming revolution happens.
So is it worth the upgrade? Probably no, maybe just for bragging rights. But who am I to judge?

Let me test it in Denmark, and I'll let you know. Shouldn't take more than 3 days to see if it's stable or just like rog phone.

This poll's alternatives are too biased!
It's definitely not the best gaming phone on the market but it's got the highest performance/price ratio in 2019 flagships. Well, to gain that ratio they had to sacrifice some things for sure. Which means, it's not "the best" as you can campare it with ROG while you're forgetting the 2x price tag.
However, it's not a worthy upgrade from Black Shark 2 too. No game or application needs this amount of processing power to run smooth. But it's surely a great deal for someone with an older mobile phone or for someone who's going to upgrade from a mid-ranger to this beast.
So this poll is obviously going to end in favour of the 2nd option and it's completely worthless...

Asus ROG Phone 2 is better especially for the ROG Kunai Gamepad which are recognized as a standard gamepad and and we can directly play games with gamepad support without having to map all buttons on each game like with Black Shark 2 Gamepad 2.0 and Red Magic 3 Pro Handle Gamepad
Black Shark and Red Magic have to make a new version of their controller with standard input buttons or they will be out of competition
