And my Samsung A3 has o... moreIf you're talking specifically about Samsung, they do aknowledge the fact on how easy it is to design radio antennas on glass or plastic rear phones thus the proliferation of such designs on their flagships. It doesn't mean that you have a smartphone that can do NFC on a metal rear, you're already so sure that there's no engineering challenges and additional complexity involved. These phones were designed and researched well by Samsung to have the best design as possible, they're not moving to glass rear design just for the looks of it.

Its good to now how well they are made, these 300 phone. Especialy if its first phone.

So a fingerprint scanner on bottom or back of your phone is always a better option.

Samsung has made a good job with the A50. Excellent screen, good battery.
Compared to my 3 y. old S7, the device is almost the same, with some extras ( now I have an FM radio and an Ultra wide camera, Live Focus etc... )
I dont care for the plastic back, because anyway need to use a case ( like on my S7 did )
Fingerprint sensor is a bit slow, but get ride on it, it will be improved, and waiting for Android 10, Q, it willbe better OneUI.
Next phone will be any with a selfie camera under the display.

Midrange phones do not require wireless charging too. So glass is useless on low-end and midrange phones. They do not need to look pretty and premium. I just need them to be sturdy.

He does that to all the phones he gets. So people know what to look out for if they have that phone. Thank you for reading

No offence they did good job but i dislike underdisplay finger print reader just because it does not work on scratched or damaged screen. Thats extra cost to repair if accident happens.

It's so weird that my s8 did not explode after two years of usage. It's probably has something to do with the fact that normal people did not live in 2016 anymore.

Metal frame + glass became mainstream over metal unibody because the glass rear allows the manufacturers to have the convenience for whichever wireless technology they wanted to implement (3D printed radio antennas, NFC, Wireless charging, etc. ) while also maintaining overall lower SAR value during operation.

I like how he pretends a50 is a good phone after scratching the sides and seeing that it's all plasitc (wait a year and it will look all flaked and ready to be trashed) then bending it and saying that a screw popped up. Screws pop up all the time inside phones. Happens to me every time, i carry a phillips screwdriver just in case. not bad samsung.

I don't remember any brand releasing a metal phone this year. Shall hold on to my metal phone until someone releases a new metal phone. My money shall go to that company.

I really hope Samsung switches to at least a stronger plastic or metal... my caseless Galaxy A20 has 2 micro scratches already. And my case won't be arriving for a few weeks :(
