      OK so today is the 9th.

      I have unrooted my device.

      I am on 311 EMUI 9.1 Android 9 PIE.

      Now, lets see if there is an update for me.

      Oh well isn't that a surprise!!! There isn't.

      Huawei, you are an awful awful awful company.

      10 versions of the same phone globally
      10 versions of similar firmwares globally
      Several different variants of each version of the same phone globally

      Massively inconsistent upgrade roll out system

      Both myself and my wife are on the same P20 Pro from EE.

      I got updated, she did not? Why? Same phone, same system?

      Appalling, this is also the same problem globally.

      Make one phone, make one firmware (GET IT RIGHT)

      Job done

Not a power user, really (mostly camera thingy) but so far i have encountered zero bugs. My Microsoft launcher has more. About lags... never used snappier Spydroid iteration. (And i tried many of them, One UI being the worst.)

                          Am more interested in which phones they will provide updates for. If they continue supporting old phones like Mate 9 and P10, I think we have a winner manufacturer here.

                              Honestly EMUI is one of the best UI's on a Kirin it's snappy and stable.Been using Emui since version 4.0. Have no gripes about it. I however have gripes about the crappy stock android dialer, adressbook and meh camera interface. My old P9 is still snappy, had the camera tech not advance so fast , I wound't have swapped it out this year. All in all if the P30 PRO would have had a headphone jack and no notch it would have been the perfect phone. Even so it's better then anything around.

                                  So far, EMUI suits me of all the UI i used before. I started with emui 9, so I may not have a personal experience of the downsides of the previous emui versions. but for now, the 9 is on the spot for me, so this Emui 10 is quite interesting.
