The notch just ruined everything. I liked the mate 20 and p30 but never bought because of the awful notch

AnonD-732843, 07 Aug 2019The render shows tiny holes / dots similar to speaker grill... morei don't think that's a xenon flash; there is already a led flash within the camera island. i am thinking it could be a vent for cooling? i also am curious of the dot right below that grille; that could be a tof camera. now, on the front, there are a total of 5(!) modules there- i think this would have no lesser than 2 selfie cameras (one regular and one wide), while the rest could be for face id and ambient/proximity sensors. i love the design for the back with that circular camera island.

In your article, you guys wrote "However, the front is in line with what we've seen recently with the wide notch and curved sides." This isn't true as the most recent leaks of the Mate30 have shown the Mate30 to have the first "Waterfall" display with the screen being drastically curved on the sides. This new curvature means the Huawei Mate30 will have no physical buttons (unlike the case maker renders in your article) on the sides as clearly seen in this picture (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D_-vKNsVUAAc7U7.jpg:large). To be honest I think this case maker rendered the very first "leak" of the Mate30 (explains the circular camera module on the back) and not the most recent leaks of the Mate30 (which reveal the "Waterfall" display).

It looks like a xenon flash to me but ... moreThe render shows tiny holes / dots similar to speaker grills / nets but these dots are also in a criss cross pattern throughout the back of the device which I believe is just something the designer wanted to show but this phone is also strikingly similar to the Nokia Lumia.. Either way if that is a xenon flash, then it will be revolutionary as the Nokia Lumia was the last with this type of flash.

Most anticipated phone this year lol....sure, I really like the design and I can trust Huawei for the specification. Maybe it will be my next phone

You cannot start calling the camera module camera matrix and then make it circular. They got to choose for one

Personally i like this design better than the rectangle one leaked in the other render.
This one reminds me of the Pureview 1020, which is a good thing.
Irregardless of what it looks like, it will be a killer device.
