Amazon leaks Motorola One Action, reveals price and launch date

06 August 2019
The phone is largely identical to the Motorola One Vision - down to the 21:9 screen. The main difference is the Action Cam on the back.

I really like Motorola brand for ages but they are really making it harder to like. What the hell are they (Lenovo) doing ?

Do they really think that by launching the same phone and adding a wide camera is enough to justify the resources of a different model? Seriously?!

At least they could have improved the chipset.
Let's wait and confirm the official launch too see for ourselves, this is too bad to be true.... What a disappointing decision

So this is pretty much a One Vision with an extra camera. If One Vision couldn't make an impact, then One Action won't either.

Pixel 3a is a better phone overall for the same price. Galaxy A50 too is better in the same price segment.

No point mentioning about Chinese brands like Xiaomi and OnePlus when Motorola can't even compete against big brands in terms of price and performance.

While Samsung has the best screen and Huawei has the best cameras, another OEM like HTC, LG, Sony, etc etc could have decimated them by offering better hardware at same price-bracket and AndroidOne/community support. HMD-Nokia tried this, but their execution was off (usually overpriced and under-specced), LG never quite did it (excl. LG G7-One), and Sony only did it half-heartedly with a few models which had the ability to flash alternate OS (eg Ubuntu, SailfishOS, etc).

I think Android 5.1-Lollipop (and beyond) is good enough on its own/stock for most people. Before that, the Stock AOSP was too clunky or featureless, and so it was better using either a Custom Rom (ResurrectionRemix), a Stock-ish OS (eg Xperiance), or a SkinnedOS (FlymeOS). So now, it's a little bit stupid for OEMs to not take advantage of the Stock AOSP instead of their own Skinned-variant, and just stick to the AndroidOne program.... it's guaranteed to generate more sales!!

Also i think the point for android one was to have a good enough google phone in countries with no google pixel, or without paying apple price (until they release pixel 3a) i think.

Currently i have moto one vision , Android one is super fast and smooth no lags in any situations and even for top games , like or not 21:9 is the future as soon as you use this kind of display you will understand , I'm not going to buy this phone because i have one vision already but i highly recommend over those ugly Chinese ui i even can pay extra money for stock Android ui and for this phone actually we pay even lower

Seeing the Xiaomi A3, the Motorola One x, etc. It seems that they think that people looking for Android One are idiots and are going to pay equal or more money for worse hardware only due to the Android One... Precisely when people that are looking for Android One usually do that because the knowledge of software and hardware that they have, ridiculous.

They can keep these things with them taking dust. At least at those prices. i can't imagine the One Pro how much could cost... with the mediocre exynos they are using, old rear fingerprint sensor and the mega hump leaked for the four cameras.

So it's something close to SD660/665 ? for 300 it's a bit expensive and dont even have AMOLED screen for this android one phone. Small battery too and large bezel on the bottom.

Nothing special about it. Only over priced.

Good luck to Motorola let's see how the sales will go with this one...
