Having been using the Note FE as my daily driver since release I could say that the Note 7 was well designed and could age very well if not because of the battery issue. People bashed the iris scanner being slow but it became much quicker after the ONE UI update. Note 8 wasn't much an upgrade from it and neither is the Note 9 with blocky edges that is too uncomfortable to hold. I don't like the finger print sensor on the back. I'm looking forward to see the Note 10 in person, but I could be disappointed with the awkward choice of either choosing the 10 for a number downgrades or 10+ for the price hike.

I can't go back to other phone unless note has a serious competitor. For me, note series has no competitor.

Unfortunately people are forgetting the main feature od note, the spen. They are comparing it to the likes of oneplus 7 and mate 30 yada yada

Ouch, The Note 7 got the cold shoulder and was replaced by the Note (7) FE. Funny as it was a limited release and counted among the global Notes. Very smooth and very ruthless, Samsung...

DavidRegalJnr, 07 Aug 2019I feel am the only one who uses the Pen a lot..maybe becaus... morei do alot of sketching/drawing on the go and i have had every iteration of the note series from the first to note 8; i also had the tablet note 8.0 but there is just nothing to beat the regular note series' pocketability. what had me decide to not get the note 9 last year and sell my note 8 (i eventually bought a refurbished one though) is the lack of option for a flat screen. the curved edges just doesn't feel right when sketching/drawing right up to the edges. i was tempted to get the tab s4 because it has an s-pen and flat screen, but it really is just not that portable. the only note device i kept for years is my note 4, which is the one i still use for sketching/drawing on the go. i eventually gave the refurbished note 8 to my niece because i really am annoyed by the curved screen. for last year, i was tempted to buy the note 9, but i held back and instead bought a razer phone 2 (for games and multi-media) and a pocophone f1 (my daily driver) earlier this year. my note 4 is still alive and kicking, and i am never going back to the note series until they give an option for a flat screen.

Good thing they mentioned the Note Fan edition, i though they would just never mention it...

I feel am the only one who uses the Pen a lot..maybe because i write a lot of songs and innovative things,so anytime anywhere something comes up I've gotta put it down(screen off memo). But unfortunately its not for everyone..especially tech geeks and maybe power users.
