this whole event looks like the apple event rip off. but I am happy to see the dark mode on the EMUI and icon are less uglier than before but I doubt about the third party launcher support

Well done Huawei! I've just updated my honor note 10 to EMUI 9.1 this week and love the new file system a noticeable increase the speed more snappier and responsive, thanks for giving the update so frequently.

Im interested in this Android skin now...

EMUI 10 hands-on by this guy. Just watching by the video, tbh, i think Emui 10 is looking like OneUI lols.

Anonymous, 10 Aug 2019AOD has to be limited to OLED displays as it wastes too muc... moreI have used a 3rd party AOD app and it drained 6% per hour on both my LG G2 and G Pro and when LG released G5 they claimed AOD will drain 1% per hour which Gsmarena confirmed and system integrated features are most often more efficient than 3rd party and current smartphones are more efficient with larger batteries so drain should be less than 1% and even if drain is 3% I dont see a problem or they can atleast give LCD phones Ambient/Active/Moto display

LG Superfan, 09 Aug 2019Nothing interesting and GPU Turbo is already in 9.1 and so ... moreOf course AOD is limited to OLED devices because LCD can't turn off individual pixels the entire backlight remains in use, which means having a simple clock = battery depleted phone in a few hours even if you don't use it.

Their version of MultiScreen looks suspiciously like the PC software for my old Nokia N-95 and with many of the same features, and that was a long time ago obviously.

Looking at app UI designs shown in the video, it seems that the new version of EMUI has got a lot closer to the vanilla Android and Samsung's One UI design wise. I know, some parts of the UI still look kind of like iOS, such as the default icon pack, but I don't think there's any point of complaining about it since Android P/Q are quite literally like iOS mixed with Google's old Material Design anyway.
I can't wait to see this on my P30!
