Weekly poll results: the Black Shark 2 Pro is not a top scorer for Xiaomi

11 August 2019
It's one of the first phones with Snapdragon 855+ and UFS 3.0 and goes for a mid-range price (as far as gaming phones go), but that wasn't enough.

Anonymous, 11 Aug 2019Software updates will be none existent as Xiaomi bring out ... moreWhen did you get this information? I have mi 5s plus (not using it anymore) and theyll still update it to android 10. Funny? Right?

The Black Shark 2 is a good phone, been using it for a week now. There are too many lows to make it a great phone. The fact that it works in the states is great! The problem is the lack of bands. With only 6 GSM bands, where do they expect to make a profit off of this phone. Xiaomi up the bands and I will get the next one but for now I am returning mine and going with a Red Magic 3!!!

One could say low latency was not enough to Hertz the Competition

Not just that... It's another Xiaomi phone that STILL doesn't have US bands. No wonder why the Red Magic 3 topples it in terms of sales. Nubia just has to give the global ROM the features that are in the Chinese version.

Everyone wanted screen refresh rate upgrade, but Xiaomi do not delivered, so even if most game do not use more than 60Hz big chunk of people do not counts shark as proper gaming phone in 2019.

            Don't have headphone jack

GGDragon, 11 Aug 2019The reason why Black Shark 2 Pro seems not worth it because... moreIt also has 20% less touch latency, UFS 3.0, and new design with new colours (I actually like the BS 2's original look more)

Honestly the poll didn't ask the right question for the positive considering the ROG II

Software updates will be none existent as Xiaomi bring out a new phone every month. They'll quickly move on to support the next new phone so buyers will be left with an unsupported phone with loads of bugs.

The reason why Black Shark 2 Pro seems not worth it because it's barely an upgrade. It's just have 855+ and that's it. No headphone jack and other accesories. I thought they will put it back like they said on April. At this point, you better buy Red Magic 3.
