CompactPhones5ever, 11 Aug 2019The problem that these 'amazing technological leaps' are tr... moreYes and no. We're already at the point where these 12MP 1/2.55" sensors are already living in their maximum potential, and there's only a few left we can do to make them better, whereas these high-megapixel large sensors are still on their early days of development, and yet they're already achieving nearly as good results as these 12MP sensors, which clearly means that we could make these new high megapixel large sensors to work even better as we progress in the technological race.
The problem here is that these newly developed sensors are only utilized most commonly on mid rangers where hardware is kept from being the best to lower the price, instead of being used on flagships where they can easily enjoy the best hardware available to work with them.
It only turns out that the current mid range phones carrying these new sensors are just experimental products for what the manufacturers could do in the future for their high end offerings, and it also lessens the gap in terms of image quality between a mid range phone and a high end device (Redmi Note 7 Pro could achieve almost as great results as many flagships costing 2 to 3, sometimes even 4 times as much as it does, and to me that's a horrible crime to the consumers, though camera isn't the only sole reason to buy a flagship, but still).

All these cameras but probably no NFC. All phones over 100 Euros should have NFC now. Realme and Redmi need to enter the times of contactless payment. It's 2019

Shanti Dope, 11 Aug 2019All these crazy new technological leaps are present on $300... moreThe problem that these 'amazing technological leaps' are trash in real life, and those 12MP sensors still do infinitely better photos than these million megapixel gimmicks.

Love the Community, 11 Aug 2019This is good. Quad Bayer/Tetracell will bring 1/1.x sensors... moreHow can it be a few inches closer? The biggest Nokia sensor wasn't over 1 inch, yes we are closer to the old Nokia sizes but there's not inches in it as that would imply larger than 1 inch

This is good. Quad Bayer/Tetracell will bring 1/1.x sensors back. I'm glad we're a few inches closer to Nokia 808/1020 sensor sizes.

All these crazy new technological leaps are present on $300 to $500 mid rangers, while our $800 to $1000 flagships are stuck with the aged 12MP 1/2.55" sensors, like wow....

Realme making some really good phones lately but they need to step up their software game. I don't hate skins and I am a huge fan of One UI and Oxygen OS but what Realme is doing is not great. They totally take away the Android feel and try to make it look like iPhones thanks to Oppo...

Realme is developing its own OS dubbed Realme OS. It's said to be close to Oxygen OS of Oneplus. It could be unveiled later this month or in September and will power future Realme Phones. If this turns out to be true, Realme Phones would be a great buy especially considering the hardware they offer at their respective price point

1/1.7 wow Nice , definitely buying this phone, but the only thing that stops me from getting this phone is
1.Ugly Color OS
2.Most probably small battery under 4000mah like
realme X
3.Only 1 major OS update
4.will also probably come with Android Pie and update
to Android 10 exactly 1 year later and they will call it a day
