Motorola G8 images show a display with no notch or punch hole

This leaves a pop-up selfie camera as the only option. Anyway, it's only been half a year since the Moto G7 was unveiled.

Having tried both 'bezel-less' and 'chin' phones, I prefer handling and using the latter. Bottom corner strain is a real issue with all display designs.

    Wish it had a single front firing speaker if not a stereo setup, but other than that no complaints with the looks as I am glad they are moving away from punch hole and notches. Maybe this is G8 and G8 Plus may get the stereo speaker treatment like G7 Plus.

      If they have small chins without the front branding then there's no excuse for Moto or anyone else (Nokia)

But yeah I agree with you about life span LCD IPS still win and I think this the reason why Apple and Samsung developing micro led screen.

IPS LCD's have more natural colours, no PWM flickering (in most case) so it's better for your eyes (something you should value). AMOLED is great for video content with its superior viewing angles, high saturation, and can have an impact on battery when displaying dark colours.

                  And wait for the pointless comments about the chin. There's one already. How many more? People want flagship looks and specs for budget prices. Want minimal bezels? Pay more or wait a year. This looks great for the price segment.

                        I'd rather take a budget phone with a display that has a punch-hole smaller than the Moto One Vision's than a budget phone with a mechanical pop up camera. God only knows how bad it'd be considering Motorola's profit margins

I agree it is weird position. It would have made sense if replaced chin with forehead& camera in bezel!!

                              Popup camera or flip camera despite having big bezel??? Why not place it in bottom bezel.?? Costs more now for a useless feature. Lame design...
                              no one seem to be sensible in designing the front.. Samsung added bottom bezel despite the hole, apple will go for notch as usual. Hope pixel will not make such design mistakes. Small bezels are still better than these holes, notches.
