Why would i want a 21:9AR screen phone when i am already not a fan of the narrow elongated remote control phones. My preference is 16:9AR--17:9AR and reluctantly 18:9AR. Please OEMs stop right there...No Remote Control-Like phones please.

Full of gimmicks, the trend du jour . They are designed to break, to be obsolete , to consume as much data as possible and to spy on their users.
But they remove useful features like FM radio, headphone jack, SD card, etc .. just ask why?

Is that why Sony is failing? Doesn't Sony even know how basic communication works? No wonder they've always been struggling keeping up with two years old real flagship devices.

I'm definitely not buying any of these smartphones: lagsung, hua©opywei, crapple, oppoplus7. I've used almost all other brands. Best overall is Sony, then LG, followed by HTC. Xiaomi is best VFM on release dates .

Right now there is little content for the aspect ratio, but the more devices that provide this display the more developers will feel prompted to create content that supports it, so eventually you will have games and videos with this aspect.

The film phone "Camera, Action" fails in own film review. An alleged camera centered phone without the most important in that case... without good cameras. Even the A50 known for not to be good in that department do a better job. Its brother G7 Plus obliterates this one and those from Xiaomi or Redmi too, and in another world at low light where this one is a bad noise generator.

Sony worshippers must be ecstatic about 21:9 display. I don't want to burst your bubble but sadly this display is only there because of the name "Action". Motorola wanted this phone to be Landscape Action Cam.

Similarly, the 21:9 AR is stupid (not ideal for multimedia, nor videogames), yet if it does become a trend (hopefully it won't), then it would still be just as stupid as it is now.
