It's great that Samsung is finally improving the mid range substantially. I hope they also correct prices.
While the Note10 is already the year's best smartphone, I am already curious to know what Samsung has planned for the future of the 'S' and 'Note'Series cameras.

A8s : Nokia X7, Mi 8 SE, Lenovo Z5s, Z5 Pro...
A9 (2018) : Redmi Note 6 Pro, Honor V20, Mi A2, Oppo K1, A8 Star (cheaper)...
A80 alternatives : Honor 20, 20 Pro, Zenfone 6... Even A70 is better imo or last year's S9+. Just goes to show how horribly overpriced the A80 is.
Like I said, there's plenty. Also those are in random order. Let's not even dwelve into the secondhand market.

The A8s and A9 (2018) are $435 and $515 respectively although vivo and Oppo also does the same while A80 is reaching absurd levels in pricing a midrange. Of course it depends where you live but I'm pretty sure there are better, less expensive alternative phones to pick.

Samsung devices always us... moreYour huawei has lost almost all camera comparison battle against S10. Only 2 things it wins - Telephoto (which will come to samsung in S11) and Night mode. Every other day time shot or regular photos samsung's 12mp beats your P30 pro. go and watch every other camera comparison video if u want.
Nokia 9 is a joke. $100 realme phone takes better photos than that phone .. lmao

Amirboli, 15 Aug 2019How is A80 camera in your opinion ??????For some odd reason, the aperture is narrower than the usual IMX586. Anyways, it takes pretty good photos but it's low light capabilities is what drags it down. Video recording doesn't have any problems. What is unacceptable is the asking price. You'd expect to have almost no compromises but that's not the case. Picture quality has to be excellent. There are so many phones that are better in that aspect, one example is the Honor 20 Pro.

Samsung devices always us... moreYou clearly are a plain ignorant hater, the cameras rely on software to achieve good results, you can put the best camera available, but it will ultimately rely on how effocient and accurate the process is done, the best example are the pixels, they don use the latest best camera, but employ an excellent algorithm for image processing, chinese brands have been using very good quad bayer 48 mp sensors, but only a few produce excellent photos

Ayva, 15 Aug 2019Congrats critising photos from non existent devices.My current judgement refers to their previous premium phones such as the A9 (2018), A8s and even the A80. Just my assumption. Yes they have not released but it's just something that shouldn't be overlooked. They NEED to improve.
