There's an unwritten rule that mandates that Tough, outdoorsy, water-proof and dust-proof phones come in bright colored chunky shells.
This phone may be good, but fails the visual test:
People are going to mistake this for a normal fat phone!

Android rules! ...and you have droids in tough form for active lifestyle. Because it is tested to survive 30 min in 1m of water - means you can cross rivers (about 5 mins) without worrying about the phone in your cargo pocket. You can be sure it can beat getting drenched in the rain. I lost a phone this way--one minute it's sunny, then midway through the trek it poured like crazy. After that I had to ziplock my phone all the time.

lol apparently 'the outdoors' is a puddle outside your house. How fat do you need to be to search in the puddle for over an hour without finding the phone.
And it handles sand as long as each grain is 5000 microns. Really, is that what they think sand is.
That is a hugely bulky phone for those features.

totally agree on the lumia thing. however, the only advantage this sammy can have is teh proof things with it. but the design is fugly. i hope they take the RD team for a walk. nothing new on the design.
