HTC 10 was a beautiful phone, but every single phone with snapdragon 801, 810, 820 gets hot really fast and faster if the back is made of aluminum. I prefer the always hated plastic for back panels but only cheap phones used it nowadays :(. So far this year I haven't found a phone that makes me want to replace my note 8, the Asus Rog 2 looks great but it's too big -__-

Looks ugly if you ask me. No symmetry.

I don't recognize this mobile industry anymore. You can tell by visiting GSM Arena that it isn't the same like years ago. It's not the website's fault.

This is the industry now -
            Samsung
            Apple
            Chinese OEMs

            Big phones
            All glass backs
            Notches
            No headphone jack
            Curved displays
            $1000+ price tags

I remember from 2004-2016, visiting this site was exciting. Now I just see the same things over and over.

I ordered a brand new HTC 10 for $118 from eBay. It wasn't either that or an open box Google Pixel or Essential Phone which I've already owned before. Went for something different. Arguably HTC's last great smartphone.

In 2016, we still got metal backs and a headphone jack. Since 2017, phones have gotten better especially with cameras but they also got worse in terms of features and build quality.

Nokia 7.2 is the same old thing I've seen from other phones. LG and HTC act like me too companies when they used to innovate. HMD seems no different.
