Need low-light , full sunlight/high-contrast and nighttime samples.
Any cheap arse potato cam for past 5 years has been able to take good photos in low-contrast full daylight conditions.

At this point, I only need a Redmi K20 Pro with a camera OIS (on the main sensor, at least), SD Card slot, and much better audio (both externally with the stereo speakers and internally with the jack).
Add a stock Android with great amount of support, and I'm more than willing to pay $400 to $500 for it :)))
Well I guess the perfect phone could never exist....

This phone is a disaster. Both the MediaTek processor and the Samsung camera sensor are deal killers. I bought a Redmi Note 7 with the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 48mp camera sensor and the picture quality is terrible. I really wanted the Redmi Note 7 Pro with the Sony IMX 586 sensor, but they didn't release it in Europe, so I had to settle for the standard Redmi Note 7. That was a big mistake, and I won't be buying another phone with a Samsung sensor.
What's happened to Xiaomi? They used to make great phones. I was really happy with the Redmi Note 5 with the Sony IMX 486 camera sensor and Snapdragon 636 processor. Now they're making trash with MediaTek processors and Samsung camera sensors. I can only assume they're intentionally downgrading the Redmi Note 8 to try and force people to buy the K20. I actually would have bought a K20 if it had an SD card slot, but they failed there as well. Their phones are now just one disappointment after another.

The 720p Super AMOLED in MiA3 was not a dealbreaker for me but moving to Mediatek is a huge let-down, the future seems dark with these new releases.
