Faisal, 23 Aug 2019Note 10/ Note 10+ is my worst choice in the price point. -... moreAfaik you buy your phone for its features and attributes not for resale value, it would be nice if at the end of a two year contract for Android phones.

Those who crave IPhones are more than willing to buy 2 year old iPhones after they become "affordable"

The iPhone phenomenon ever increasing prices is not sustainable, https://www.investopedia.com/terms/d/dutch_tulip_bulb_market_bubble.asp

IPhones will like all inelastic products, sooner or later the tulip bubble burst being 100% or bad

In 2021 the Note 10 through no fault of its own simply won't generate serious resale offers, it doesn't mean you have to sell it

The overall number of iPhone sales is down, 2019 is unique in that the iPhone 11 will be a 4G handset when 5G is bring rolled out,

I don't bet against Apple but this is major

Honestly I don't see any strong reason for anyone to upgrade even from Note 8 to Note 10, except you hate headphone Jack and you wanna have no headphone jack.

M, 23 Aug 20191100e and after 6 months it will be 600e. IPhone's price dr... moreCompanies gradually increase phone prices to increase their profit and consequently phone market gets more and more expensive. As a result, prices of every single phone including old and second-hand phones increase or remains the same. That's the reason of the idea that Apple phones doesn't lose their value. For example, previous iPhone (6s, 7) models were cheaper than current iPhones even at the time they were released. Assuming you sold your iPhone 7 from the same price (or even more than) you bought, you need to pay more to buy the equavant model of iPhone 7 for 2019 year, iPhone XS. The thing I am trying to point out is the fact that none of the phones of the market can %100 keep their value* as the prices keep increasing.I am sure that iPhone 7 didn't cost 999 USD on initial launch.

*Of course, you can sell your flagship and buy a mid-ranger without spending any cash but a mid-ranger isn't a flagship, worse than a flagship.

1100e and after 6 months it will be 600e. IPhone's price drop will be from 1100e to 1000e. That's the main reason not to buy Samsung on the launch day or in the first few months.
