Do the math and tell how big would be a 4K screen with 320 DPI (PPI). 55" or rather something little closer to smartphone (or tablet) screen size.

Thanks in advance, dude.

PS. Thing is, that something in data provided in article's screenshot is messed up.

How about it comes with SD 855+ with 128GB ufs 3.0 storage, 8GB RAM, high res ToF camera and 32MP front camera and give a controller along with TV remote to play games directly on TV and partner with developers to make games which use ToF camera for motion detect (say a bowling game) it will be an interesting approach and I dont think whatever 1+ is going to unveil is going to be cheap

Well, oneplus blew their chance, people don't upgrade TV every year or two like smartphone and if you are competing with premium segment then people tend to incline towards already established brands when they are paying premium price as they have well established reputation for the durability of their products. Affordable pricing is the only strategy left for Oneplus. Because whenever someone speak about oneplus or xiaomi first thing comes in our mind is product affordability.

You have to consider that most TVs ship with only 1GB of RAM, and poor software support. Knowing Oneplus' expertise in software optimisation (e.g. Oxygen OS), the Mediatek SOC should be more than sufficient. You shouldn't dismiss Mediatek chips solely due to preconceived biases.

It looks its a 43 inch screen TV. Their 55 inch should have 4K pixel. With this specifications, I dont this they can competitive with upcoming honor TV or any other brands available in India.

"The resolution is listed as 1080p, but that's likely for the menu, with the TV switching to 4K when required." sounds strange. No one sells 4K TV providing information about its "menu resolution" instead of screen res.
