AnonD-8044, 26 Feb 2012Just reading back through opinions as just got in from work... moreyes i was able to get the original samsung beam. it was only released in singapore. it was doomed with a laggy ui and defective projector. i had to send the phone back to samsung for five times i think since the white spots in the projector keep on reappearing (only after several minutes of use!) each time they fixed it. i was fed up with the phone and demanded for a replacement, and they gave me a brand new galaxy s2 (big smile!). i do hope they fixed all the problems from the old beam model.

Haha that looks awesome! No need to plug your phone into your TV to watch a movie - just plug it into the charger and either your headphones or stereo, and point it at the wall!

I see that they keep releasing MANY Gingerbreads this year. I see that they don't innovate their design like others. I see their UI became outdated while the others have been updated. I see they are too comfortable with their position like Nokia was. I see Samsung going down this year.

Imagine putting the phone in your pocket immediately after projecting a few minutes' video. It will burn ur pants!
