Having a android 10 on a below average midranger with a price of an average chinese flagship no thanks.
I dont have a plans to support an ugly looking google phones with low end specs but 400+ price.

PartTimePhoner, 27 Aug 2019Anything else?It will bring system wide dark mode, option to record internal audio, build in screen recorder (maybe- but it should be in developer settings), ability for launchers to access recents tray (no more laggy recents with launchers), foldable phones support, overall better performance, and little asthetic changes like different battery icon and some changes to notification shade and also new gesture navigation. And the reason for removal of Android beam is that it is not used much and is almost useless when you can transfer files way faster with Google files app... Is that not enough?

frostmore, 27 Aug 2019Sounds nice and all, but will the phone be as popular as th... moreSamsung just released phones with no SD Slot, no Jack + a gimmicky s-pen - and still sells tons of this stupid phone. Im no professional, but Google needs to aquire new lands with phones, not competing with apple (looks and software is like apples right now) or hardware offerings like SD slots etc. (which they don't right now). As I read hundereds of comments: Pixels phones are average looking and work poorly (lagging hefty after 0,5 - 1 year of usage) while the biggest selling point of google phones are obviously camera and the form factor of 5,5". Also they seem too expensive for what they offer. It's not what I say! I personally think google should have never built an own phone to compete with iphones, but stay with a premium nexus line clearly for developer usage (maybe reduce price for devs or smth.) and put more effort into fuchsia, ara or another OS. Sadly Alphabet is only into money and not invention anymore...

Sounds nice and all, but will the phone be as popular as the note or S series??
Samsung, despite its crappy knowx and all still manages to maintain their market share,albiet losing out to the chinese mobile phone companies.
All of them have 1 thing in common, they give consumers choices to choose different phones without having to sacrifice (pay a premium for) storage or buying extra dongles for a fad set by crapple.
if google wants to regain market shares, no amount of crappy camera/software,squeezable side/10 or 20 lens camera hype is going to help.
the formula works, sd card slots, dual sim, relatively good camera and stable software. no need for gimmicks or following behind crapple with their asshattery.
