I've been using Honor 6x for the past 3 years, not a single issue faced apart from the average camera. On an average, I used to buy a new phone every 1.5 years due to some issue or other. Now Eagerly waiting for 9x pro to launch in India.

Battery will be great with 7nm chipset,cameras are like on Samsung,making pictures more beautiful and is more for girls.Price is also great.I am only worried for this pop up mechanism. Also great option is also redmi note 8 pro which will get update for sure and don't worry for mediatek procesor.

Huawei mid rangers are very reliable
They run very smoothly in day to day usage
Battery performance is also very good
Cameras are decent and capable in day light but lack in low light
They are not intended for gamers as they have weak gpu's but they can play heavy games without issues just not at the highest settings
If you want to go for mid rangers go for it they are very good all rounders
My whole family is using mid range Huawei phones and none have had any faults as of yet

I have asked this alot of times but so far not received a satisfactory answer
Im planning to gift my brother a Huawei phone so I need to know how are their mid range phones for long term usage like 2 years
In my budget I can afford P30 lite and Y9 Prime 2019 cause these two seems to be the most complete phones in the price range
I want one major android update, good battery life, decent performance after two years and good camera with nice speakers and I wont mind plastic build
So can anyone help me out?
