    LG phones are good , though they are not as popular as compared to Samsung however I find them far better than Samsung phones.

      How are you supposed to play games with this? Many games have the input on the screen that you can see. Using the base as a remote won't work. It would be like mirroring your TV and trying to play a touch screen game from there.

        LG just NO.
        When comes to updates every company is far ahead.
        LG cant make properly anything even they sales failing like apples from tree after the storm.
        10 years ago LG was some company now even soome unknown chinese brands have better sales.

              This is not rollable. This folds around the phone. A rollabe ponce would wrap around a small tube like the spring loaded window shades.

                    Pretty dumb design imho. Why roll out the entire screen and have it sitting next to the blank body? It would make much more sense to have the screen extend to the top of the body as well. This way the concpet would be a true 2 in 1 (phone/tablet) device with actually usable aspect ratios.

                      Would not buy something like this from LG. LG has some of the worst phones out there. They came out with the LG Flex, never figured out the screen issues, that weird 3d phone back in 2010, again never figured out the screen issues.

                      Only decent products are their huge TVs, and that only if you don't mind outrageous price and questionable software. thank god in europe they are already known for jumping on trends and abandoning the stuff before they get it 100% right and reliable. Their phones have become disposable garbage and that's unacceptable for 2019/2020, not even mentioning the fact that it's too expensive for a terrible brand name such as LG. They usually have less shelf space than xiaomi.

                                  Don't trust any LG tech. Just because it's LG, worst mobile phones vendor. They can't even do properly casual screens for phones.

Something like an unobtrusive support system for the extended display. And as long as consumers will not have to remove/reapply the protection every time, it would be a success.

                                    Based on the renders, the extended screen looks very fragile. I don't know how anyone could use it productively or otherwise.

The hustle an... moreAgreed but it could work if LG can provide some sort of outer protection, like a case or a mod case that can be attached two protect the other side of display that it is not in use when the device is being used like a normal phone. That's just a theory though!
