Anonymous, 26 Feb 2012Its a low cost phone. What are u thinking?Isn't the L3 supposed to be the low cost one? The one that comes with a pathetic QVGA? Even if the L5 is low to midrange it's unthinkable to buy such a big screen phone with such low resolution. HVGA looks passable on screen size of up to 3.5" no more. This won't survive any contest with other droids in it's range unfortunately

I am sorry but the L7 and the L5 is a replica of the galaxy SII front .

The l3 is just a failed N9 design

The Vu is a buahahahahahahahahahahaahaha meme phone

The 4X HD is looks sharp untill you get to the back panel . Why all wannabe manufacturers position the camera in such a failed location just goes to show how much companies wanna be like crapple.

I sure hope the 4X comes in white like the L7 does.

What's the PPI count of that L5? 144?! Are we in 2007? Stupidest phone ever, but none more so than those who'll buy it. Can't they just make a normal size(4" or smaller) phone with decent specs?

I'm a big fan of LG in every other sector of consumer electronics but in mobile phones they're woeful, I'm sad to say.

AnonD-3575, 26 Feb 2012well, i wasnt mentioning nokia but they were one of the fi... moreI agree with and you do make very valid points. I'm not anti-Nokia, far from it (I happen to love their hardware), i await to see what Carla and the 808 bring but their recent strategy is lackadaisical when you compare with what they had 10 years ago combing exciting forms which were original and technology which was ahead of most at the time. Being first however doesn't mean the best, others will utilise that technology and refreshen it or better it tenfold. Ask LG, being the first with multiple cores didn't help the Optimus 2X.

But don't fret about innovations, we are promised Senseg's touch to feel technology which should be mainstream later this year as well as the next generation of advanced AI in voice recognition from Majel and Windows Phone. The potential of Bezel thin ppones brings back the sleekness of form factors. too

Bill, 26 Feb 2012So tell me what has Nokia done lately other than photocopy ... morewell, i wasnt mentioning nokia but
they were one of the first to use gorilla glass, nfc, aluminium and polycarbonate housing (instead of simple plastic). not to mention the design which is a lot different (unlike samsung, htc, lg) and so on...
their cameras and screens are among the top, and they are still the only maker which caters to low end market. a market most makers have abandoned...
those may not be things you thing are important, but everyone is different.
but, im not saying they cant work harder too, i do like an option for buying a high end phone. most high end androids are too huge and not very battery efficient.

hi, 26 Feb 2012soo true we dont need higher spec we need new things Unfortunately that is a contradiction, however if the Samsung Projector Beam phone announced today flaunting 15 Lumens doesn't appeal to you with a relatively mid-range spec, I don't know what will.As with the automobile industry, the smartphone industry is moving forward technologically at the top end of the market, which means higher specced phones carrying a premium price tag to pay for new technology research are likely to have the cutting edge features you will desire in the future. Over the years, that technical innovation will spread down to lower end spec devices.

Nice products from LG. The problem now is what the competition will unleash. Forget all the other years, the frenzy at MWC this time around is cut-throat. Who will survive? Who is meeting their waterloo? This is the point geeks like me just stare and grin,as strongholds are torn down and footsoldiers become loyals.
