It's a shame it's not water resistant but I'm not aware if there are any phones at this price range.

Axon 10 pro looks really good in camera, screen and battery department, price is very competitive too. Too bad there is no custom ROMs support.

I forgot, I didn't upgrade to Android 8.
However, after over 2-1/2" years, I sent mine to have the USB port changed and the battery replaced. They charged my card for $85 and they sent me a new one!!!

I have two Axon 7 phones at home. One was to be a daily user and the other a development phone, since ZTE promised to support 3rd party OS development. ZTE changed their minds and removed 3rd party OS support. Then they got in trouble for violating export bans so the updates halted.
I now have two completely useless Axon 7 phones. One is stock with buggy WiFi and LTE radios that crash constantly. The other has an abandoned LineageOS fork build on it.
Buy hey, sign me up to repeat my mistakes!

Don't know what carrier do you have but Xiaomi smartphones,almost all of them, support those bands..

harwey, 28 Aug 2019Wow,not even Xiaomi devices in Canada?Xiaomi sells but through indirect channels (Gearbest/Banggood/AliExpress). Most importantly, Xiaomi doesn't have an NA variant so even if you can get a Xiaomi, it won't support the LTE bands here.

ZTE Axon was a great device at 400$ with two year warranty and door pickup services.
At 550$ it is gonna get run over by Zenfone 6 & Redmi K20 pro which are both under 500 $.
