Let me give you MY PROFESSOR's example on relative marketing and sales.
EG.
Q1: Retailers Order 100 nokia units and 100 samsung units
Q1>Q2 Retailers sells the said units
Q2: Retailers ran out of samsung units and odered another 100
Q2>Q3 Retailers continues to sell(returns/refunds/repairs included)
Q3>Q4 Retailers ran out of nokia units and oredered another 100
basically returns, affect the sales plus the cost for repairs covered by Early Life Failures. Plus accessories and miscell. stuff like insurances are also a factor.
the main point is Nokia already made a sale just by shipping out to RESELLERS which are the RETAILERS.

Nokia 4ver. I'll buy this one after using 2 years lagging Android. I prefer good camera and this phone has something to offer.

N95 won the title best mobile imaging device 2007.
N82 won best mobile imaging device 2008.
N86 2009 best mobile imaging device.
2010 , 2011 , 2012 Q1 is for N8 until february 26 before the announcement of the new king :)
but until now no other manufacturer beats N8 in imaging depatment, even that manufacturer is a know camera maker and using a new develope back side sensors :)
