Technically it's POSReady 2009 which had security updates until this year. On one hand, if they run in a closed network with no user-accessible input, they could be running NT4 Embedded for all I care. On the other hand, people installing card-scrapping malware in ATMs is not an impossibility. This happened before, on quite large scalesm

As soon as someone in UK opens up for pre-orders, I'll be getting an lte version.. I'm expecting to pay another 20% on the prices mentioned, just in case someone forgot to add vat to those list prices, which seeing how its aimed at enterprise buyers is a high probability... But its better than anything else out there or expected soon, would prefer a bit smaller screen. 8.5 inch would do OK, but I can live with too big and I expect to keep mine for years, so 4 years of updates is nice...

I once went to a retail supermarket and saw the desktop at the cashier stand still powered by Windows XP. Can you believe that, Windows XP in 2019?

And that DeX Mode is definitely a worthy addition.

you don't get things like these a lot of times. user replaceable batteries doesn't even exist in the modern years, until this came up.

600 euros for specs worse than Xiaomi redmi note 8 pro which cost 190 euros.
Complete no.
Dont tell me that IP68 and MIL-STD cost 400 euros.

if it was with 2 separate batteries of 1500mah each, its weight would be great. Or something similar with better external power connection. Though I would welcome that for non rugged tablets, 500g is just too much to hold, well even 400g is.

I think this is ideal for children with drop protection and water resistance, also with pen support for students.

User-replaceable battery and IP certification?!
Shut up and take my money!
Even with an underdog chipset, and even though it packs android rather than chrome OS, it is far better than most of its competitors, even the mighty galaxy tab doesn't have a replaceable battery!
