      My phone (Honor View 10) cost 450 pounds when it came out. Not exactly a fortune.

      I'm not saying categorically that folding phones will fail as I don't have precognition but I do think it likely.

      2 thousand is a lot to pay to essentially be a beta tester.
      I'm not willing to do so but no doubt some will. Whether enough will for this to take off remains to be seen

          extremely high price for a product with such a bad reputation already. I can see this selling in maybe dozens.

          The screen on the outside is too small and the crease in the middle will be far too annoying.

              Folding phones are pointless. Laptops fold, but then companies started trying to push tablets that don't fold. Now's there's ones with clip on keypads.

              It's all just an attempt to make fools part with their money.

              And judging by some of the comments it will work.

              If people want to spend a couple thousand on this then of course they are welcome too. I hope it brings them joy.

              But I'll be sticking to phones that don't have weak plastic screens. It should serve as warning that this is already Samsungs second attempt as the original one released was failing after mere days
