Well atleast you are pleased to buy those cheaper phones for the best same hardware without caring about those underpaid and sleep deprived kids who assemble them. good for you!

I sincerely hope that you understand that the "wider audience" is mainly a direct result of the lower prices...

And they want to make a law in China to legalise 14 hour shifts. Disgusting country, poor chinese people, Comunism should not exist

LCD and OLED version for each phone too (OLEDS suffer from burn-in). And recycling old baterries too.
Bit higher price for this would be cool with me.

Popy, 10 Sep 2019I would rather payback their hardwork to Chinese companies ... morewe used to work with Chinese supplier but not any longer, we moved to other ones. just because the money payed to the hardworking Chinese companies are not going the hardworking workers... although the selling prices of the chinese products are much lower than the american ones, for instance as the discussion is about apple..., in 20 years china got more billionaires than usa in 200 years. guess how....

yup, old story... i will be impressed when the said chinese labor watch will check the working conditions at all the chinese companies that manufacture and sell all those incredible cheap products, including chinese brands phones, tv's, other consumer goods... i'm not saying that foreign companies are not profiting from the breaking the laws, but i do not like the way these news are used as a club in the comercial wars. anyhow, i know people that, as a rule, refuse to buy extremely low priced products, chinese included, just not to encourage exploitation of the kids and other disadvantaged persons.

It's cause Foxconn is Taiwanese. You'll never see Chinese going after mainland Chinese company for doing the same. Not excusing Foxconn either but just saying.

So the thing is that: yeah it is true, but let's make all these changes only ofter IPhone 11 is released. Until then you can keep slaving those workers away. Tipical corporation behaviour, be it American, Chinese or Taiwanese.

Foxconn already agreed if something goes wrong to make and build in US
Apple works with Samsung, not a Chinese company
Apple works with TSMC , not a Chinese company
Apple works with LG, not a C company
Apple is working with Ireland, not a C country
So , yea , the biggest company in the world with the biggest profit will be fine even then

There may be some companies that do not work you to the bone. Depends on people though, should learn to say no.
