Was thinking USB C would be found on the iPhone back in 2015,,,,2019 still waiting. Have the fruit company lost all sense of logic!
Reports are saying, apple didn't want to upset customers owning lightning headsets, audio devices etc. Well with each years delay that number would have increased and keep going up. Ultimately customers would want to just give up and move on!!
Too much focus on profit is ultimately go6ung work against it.

Which shows that people only buy the brand and doesn't care what model they own assurveys have shown. People tied to their ecosystem will buy the cheaper phone they can find even if it's a crap one. Half of them even don't have a clue of what phone they own or what model. It's an iPhone and that is all.

Watching the tendency they'll mainly sell old generation phones more in the future that the current ones and in the latest generation only the cheaper will sell more. The decline of their flagships is already confirmed. Apple customers don't care about its phones and with the hyper high service prices from Apple, the cheaper the phone and older, the better for them. At least until they realize that there is a world of phones out of Apple to buy and profit from them.

Apple's influence on other brands and tech fans here is very interesting. Just post anything about Apple, there will be tens of comments about Apple within minutes. Even after criticised for removing consumer friendly features and having so many haters here, you would expect it to decline. But no, other brands rush to copy Apple's decision and every year Apple's revenue is increasing. Perhaps Students from business administration should study about Apple.

ExtremeBoky, 10 Sep 2019The first company to introduce planned obsolescence through... moreGreat explanation,mate..and all of that can be yours for $1300(XR 64GB).Even with 50% discount it's too much.

I remember the time when they was a leader on Japan market. Now less than 10%. They can't compete with Chinese manufacturers.Ok android can work "1" year fluid. But I can get great one for 150-200€, and i will change it every year, not like iPhone users 3-4 years. And it will be secured with 1 to 2 years warranty so I am relaxed.

It will force them to innovate or it will drop their prices. either way its a good news to the customer

I am just about to upgrade and went to my carriers store and sorry but for that much money even the XS looked dated (but was the best looking phone between the iPhones) compared to Huawei or Samsung. The XR had huge bezels and that resolution was just disgusting. I am curious about the event today so maybe the I will wait to see the new ones.

The first company to introduce planned obsolescence through non-replaceable batteries. The first company to not include expandable storage. The first company to remove the 3.5mm socket. Not to mention the necessity of that absolute crap Itunes, to do anything with file transfers.... Highest radiating phones (SAR values) in industry. They simply don't care about the customers, just profit profit profit.

.... the icing on the cake? The chopped off section of the screen... unbelievable.

i think they should lower prices 20% and bring back easy repairs and home button. replaceable homebutton by user also, and better tech support.
