In the the olden days of phones, touch-screen as well as T9 and qwerty phones, plastic glass covering the screen was standard, and yet mine stayed pristine the whole time.

Besides, even the careless can use plastic screen protectors on devices with a outwards folding screen, and replace it whenever it gets too many scratches.

You can't call this a hands-on video if it's just an audible summary of the changes implemented with stock video from other sources.

Marco M, 11 Sep 2019That crease though. . .You're not going to see it head on. As of now there's no other way until next year or 2 Samsung can do bendable glass. Somebody have to start somewhere. Unlike the other company wait for it to ripe, jump in and claimed they perfected it.

Be reason a bit, you expect the Fold to cost $1000.

                      That crease though. . .

Guys , even if breaks , not a problem , Samsung has a amazing customer service and will cover your device no questions asked , what's all this negativity?

Samsung worked on a design that had some flaws. They tried to make it work so that they wouldn't disappoint their customers. It'll definitely not be a product that will be reliable for longer period. If anything I'm excited about the 2nd gen, hopefully, they come up with a more robust design.

                            Now that's innovation.

I'm sure the design isn't failproof, but at least will keep display enough time working, to fool customers that Galaxy Fold is a nice phone, when hinge fails after Warranty.....OMG T_T my Fold.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold is a thing of beauty! It's the most innovative smartphone device ever made. Hands down.
